  • Bar spoon
  • Wine glass or stemless glass
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 2 oz cucumber juice freshly juiced or blended cucumber
  • 1 oz elderflower cordial or elderflower syrup
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 4 oz sparkling wine or non-alcoholic sparkling wine
  • 2 oz soda water or club soda
  • cucumber ribbons or slices for garnish
  • lime wheel or wedge for garnish
  • edible flowers optional, for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill your wine glass with ice cubes.
  • Add cucumber juice, elderflower cordial, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes.
  • Shake gently for about 10 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into your prepared glass.
  • Top with sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic sparkling wine).
  • Add soda water or club soda to finish.
  • Stir lightly with a bar spoon to keep the bubbles lively.
  • Garnish with cucumber ribbons, a lime wheel, and edible flowers if desired.

Notes

For the freshest taste, use homemade cucumber juice. Adjust the elderflower for more sweetness or use a dry sparkling wine for a crisper finish. Swap in non-alcoholic sparkling wine for a mocktail version.
