  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Muddler
  • Strainer
  • Rocks glass or old-fashioned glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz peach schnapps or peach liqueur
  • 1 oz peach nectar
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 0.5 oz lime juice fresh
  • 2-3 slices fresh peach for muddling
  • ice cubes enough for the shaker and glass
  • 1 splash cranberry juice optional, for a pink tint
  • mint leaves for garnish
  • peach wedge or lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Add peach slices to a cocktail shaker and muddle gently to release juices.
  • Pour in white rum, peach schnapps (or liqueur), peach nectar, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Add a small splash of cranberry juice if using.
  • Garnish with mint and a peach or lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ripe peaches make the biggest flavor difference; thawed frozen slices also work. Adjust sweetness with more or less simple syrup, or lighten with a splash of soda water. For extra peach punch, add a touch more peach schnapps.
