Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice unsweetened or sweetened
  • 1 bottle red wine 750 ml, medium-bodied
  • 0.5 cup vodka
  • 0.5 cup orange juice fresh squeezed preferred
  • 0.25 cup simple syrup or honey optional, to taste
  • 1 orange thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries optional, for garnish
  • ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Pour cranberry juice, red wine, vodka, and orange juice into a large pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
  • Add simple syrup or honey if desired. Stir in orange and lemon slices and fresh cranberries.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour for flavors to infuse.
  • To serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour sangria over ice and garnish with fruit.

Notes

Chill the sangria for a few hours for best flavor. Add club soda to each glass for fizz. Use fresh orange juice for extra brightness.
