Cozy and festive, this hot toddy brings tart cranberry, warm spices, honey, lemon, and smooth vodka together for a unique winter cocktail. Perfect for chilly nights and holiday gatherings.
Warm cranberry juice and water in a saucepan over medium heat with cinnamon, cloves, and star anise. Steep 5 minutes, do not boil.
Remove from heat, stir in honey until dissolved.
Add lemon juice and vodka. Stir to combine.
Strain into a heatproof mug. Garnish with cranberries or orange slice and serve hot.
Notes
Start with less honey and add more if you like it sweeter. Swap vodka for whiskey for a bolder flavor. The longer the spices steep, the stronger the aroma.
