Equipment

  • Tall glass or mason jar
  • Measuring cup or jug
  • Small saucepan (for homemade syrup)
  • Stirring spoon
  • Strainer (optional)
  • Muddler or spoon (optional)
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice sweetened or unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water plain or lime-flavored
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary simple syrup store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 2 –3 fresh cranberries for garnish
  • 1 rosemary sprig for garnish and flavor

Instructions

  • Fill a tall glass about halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour in 1 cup of cranberry juice.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of rosemary simple syrup and stir to combine.
  • Top off the drink with 1/2 cup of sparkling water.
  • Use a muddler or back of a spoon to gently press the rosemary sprig in the glass to release aroma (optional).
  • Add 2–3 fresh cranberries and place the rosemary sprig on top as garnish.
  • Stir once more and serve immediately.
