A festive twist on the Manhattan, this cocktail uses bourbon, cranberry juice, rosemary simple syrup, lime, and bitters—served over ice and garnished with fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig for tart, herbal, and cozy flavor.
Fill cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Measure out bourbon, cranberry juice, rosemary syrup, lime juice, and bitters with jigger.
Add all ingredients to the shaker. Shake for 15 seconds until cold.
Place an ice sphere or fresh ice into a rocks glass.
Strain the cocktail into the glass over the ice.
Garnish with rosemary sprig and fresh cranberries.
Notes
Make rosemary syrup ahead by simmering rosemary in simple syrup. Vodka can be used instead of bourbon. An ice sphere keeps the drink cold longer. Add bitters to taste. Top with prosecco or sparkling water for a lighter variation.
