Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco or silver tequila
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup or agave nectar
  • 0.5 oz orange juice optional
  • 1-2 slices fresh jalapeño
  • club soda to top
  • ice cubes
  • fresh cranberries for garnish
  • lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, cranberry juice, lime juice, simple syrup or agave, and orange juice (if using).
  • Add jalapeño slices and muddle gently to release the flavor.
  • Shake for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a highball or Collins glass packed with fresh ice.
  • Top off with club soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with cranberries and a lime wedge.
