  • Measuring cups
  • Stirring spoon
  • Ice bucket or tray
  • Glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cranberry juice chilled
  • 2 cups ginger ale chilled
  • 1 cup ginger beer optional, for extra spice
  • 1 to 1.5 cups vodka, white rum, or gin optional, for cocktail version
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • ice cubes or ice ring
  • sliced lime or lemon for garnish
  • fresh mint leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour cranberry juice into the punch bowl.
  • Add ginger ale and stir gently.
  • If using, add ginger beer and spirits; stir again.
  • Add frozen cranberries and either ice cubes or an ice ring to the bowl.
  • Garnish with lime or lemon slices and fresh mint leaves, if desired.
  • Ladle into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Chill all liquids for best results. Add ginger beer for a stronger ginger kick. Spirits are optional—keep non-alcoholic for all ages. Wait to add soda until serving so punch stays fizzy. Frozen cranberries chill the punch without watering it down. Use orange slices instead of lime or lemon for a different twist.
