Equipment

  • Tall glass
  • Measuring cups or jigger
  • Mixing spoon or stirrer
  • Small plate or bowl
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice 100% juice recommended
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or sparkling cider
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1-2 apple slices for garnish
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar for the rim
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Wet the rim of your glass with lemon juice and dip it in cinnamon sugar.
  • Fill the glass halfway with ice.
  • Pour in the cranberry juice.
  • Add apple cider (or juice), then the lemon juice.
  • Top it off slowly with sparkling water or cider.
  • Gently stir—don’t go wild or you’ll lose all the fizz.
  • Pop in a couple of apple slices for garnish. Serve right away while it’s cold and fizzy.

Notes

For a less sweet version, use apple juice. If you want extra fizz, try sparkling cider. Lemon juice also keeps apple slices from browning. 100% cranberry juice adds tartness—add a splash of simple syrup if you like it sweeter.
