Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker (or jar with lid)
  • Measuring jigger or cups
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer
  • Martini glass or stemmed glass
  • Small plate
  • Grater or zester

Ingredients

  • 3 oz cream of coconut
  • 2 oz coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 oz simple syrup optional
  • 2 oz sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Shredded coconut flakes for rim
  • whipped cream, nutmeg, or chocolate shavings for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Chill a martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  • Wet the rim of your glass and dip in coconut flakes.
  • Fill a shaker with ice. Add cream of coconut, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and simple syrup (if using).
  • Shake hard for 15–20 seconds until smooth and cold.
  • Strain into the prepared glass. Top with sparkling water or club soda.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, nutmeg, or chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding or skipping simple syrup. Almond milk can be used instead of coconut milk for a lighter version. Serve in a chilled glass for maximum refreshment.
