Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine medium-bodied, 750ml
  • 0.5 cup Grand Marnier or orange liqueur
  • 0.5 cup cranberry juice
  • 0.5 cup pomegranate juice
  • 0.5 cup sparkling apple cider or sparkling water
  • 0.25 cup simple syrup or honey
  • 1 apple cored and sliced
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 0.5 cup fresh cranberries
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cloves
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 0.25 tsp ground spices cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice (optional)
  • ice for serving

Instructions

  • Slice apple, orange, and lemon. Add to a large pitcher with cranberries, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and rosemary.
  • Add red wine, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently.
  • Add ground spices if using. Chill in fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • Before serving, stir in sparkling apple cider. Pour into glasses over ice, including fruit and a cinnamon stick in each glass.

Notes

Taste before serving and adjust sweetness as needed. For a lighter drink, add extra sparkling cider or water. Best served chilled and can be made a day ahead.
