Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Wooden spoon
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring cups
  • Wine glasses

Ingredients

For 6-8 servings:

  • 1 bottle white wine 750 ml
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries halved
  • 1/4 cup edible flowers like pansies or violets
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

The white wine forms the base. Citrus fruits add tang, while honey brings sweetness. Edible flowers give a unique touch.

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, mix wine, orange liqueur, and honey. Stir until honey dissolves.
  • Add sliced orange, lemon, lime, and strawberries to the pitcher.
  • Gently stir in edible flowers.
  • Cover and chill in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
  • Just before serving, add sparkling water and ice.
  • Stir gently and pour into glasses.
  • Garnish each glass with extra fruit slices or flowers if desired.

Chilling allows flavors to blend.

Adding sparkling water at the end keeps it fizzy.

      Notes

Use a dry white wine like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.
For a stronger drink, add more orange liqueur.
Make sure flowers are food-safe and pesticide-free.
Prep fruit just before adding to keep it fresh.
Sangria can be made up to 24 hours ahead, but add sparkling water only when serving.
