  • Muddler
  • Jigger or measuring cups
  • Citrus juicer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Highball glass
  • Ice cube tray
  • Stirring spoon
  • Cutting Board
  • Sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 1 oz 30ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz 30ml fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz 60ml fresh orange juice
  • 4-5 fresh strawberries or mixed berries
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 4 oz 120ml sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: citrus slices fresh berries, mint sprig

Use fresh citrus juices whenever possible as they provide more vibrant flavors than bottled alternatives

Instructions

  • Wash all produce thoroughly.
  • Add berries and mint leaves to the cocktail shaker and muddle gently to release flavors.
  • Pour in the lemon, lime, and orange juices.
  • Add honey or agave syrup.
  • Fill the shaker halfway with ice.
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  • Fill a highball glass with fresh ice.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass.
  • Top with sparkling water.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with citrus slices, fresh berries, and a sprig of mint.

The drink should have a lovely gradient effect with the fruit juices at the bottom and sparkling water on top. Serve immediately while the carbonation is still strong.

    Notes

This recipe can be easily modified to suit different preferences. For a sweeter drink, add more honey or agave syrup. Try different berry combinations like raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries for variety.
For a party, prepare the juice mixture in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Add the sparkling water just before serving to maintain carbonation. The recipe can be multiplied to make a pitcher serving 6-8 people.
For extra flavor, try adding a splash of ginger beer or coconut water. You can also freeze the berry mixture into ice cubes for a visually appealing drink that doesn't dilute as the ice melts.
