Equipment

  • Tall glass or mason jar
  • Long spoon
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small saucepan
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Ice cube tray
  • Straw

Ingredients

  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon simple syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or half & half
  • ice cubes
  • whipped cream optional, for topping
  • ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill your glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour in the club soda or sparkling water.
  • Add the cinnamon syrup and vanilla extract.
  • Gently pour in the heavy cream or half & half.
  • Stir everything together until it’s mixed.
  • Top with whipped cream if desired and sprinkle on ground cinnamon or add a cinnamon stick.

Notes

For homemade cinnamon syrup, simmer equal parts water and sugar with cinnamon sticks for about 10 minutes, then strain. For dairy-free, swap cream for coconut or almond milk. Serve cold for the best fizz and flavor.
