Instructions
Pour bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cinnamon (ground or stick) into a cocktail shaker.
Add egg white or aquafaba if desired for a creamy texture.
Add ice to the shaker and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a lemon wheel or twist and a cinnamon stick. Optionally dust with a pinch of ground cinnamon.
Notes
Use real maple syrup for best flavor. Adjust lemon or maple to taste. Aquafaba (chickpea liquid) is a good vegan alternative to egg white. Rimming the glass with cinnamon sugar adds a festive touch.
