  • Jigger
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Bar spoon
  • Rocks glass
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila blanco recommended
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice fresh
  • 0.75 oz maple syrup real maple, not pancake syrup
  • 1 egg white optional, for foam
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ice for shaking and serving
  • cinnamon stick for garnish, optional
  • lemon slice for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Pour tequila, lemon juice, maple syrup, egg white, and cinnamon into a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake hard for about 15 seconds until cold.
  • If using egg white, remove the ice and shake again for 10 seconds to froth.
  • Double strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick or lemon slice, if desired.

Notes

Always use real maple syrup for depth of flavor. Adjust syrup for desired sweetness. Egg white adds silky foam but can be skipped if preferred—use pasteurized egg whites for safety. Fresh lemon juice is best. Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top for more spice if you like.
