Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila Casamigos preferred
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup or simple syrup
  • 6 oz sparkling mineral water Topo Chico or similar
  • 2 sprigs fresh cilantro plus more for garnish
  • lime wheel for garnish
  • chile-lime salt or Tajín, for glass rim
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Rim your glass with lime juice and dip it in chile-lime salt or Tajín.
  • Muddle cilantro leaves and lime juice in a shaker to release flavor.
  • Add tequila and agave syrup. Add ice and shake briefly to chill.
  • Strain into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with sparkling mineral water and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and extra cilantro sprig. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

Use mineral water for a cleaner taste. Add more agave for sweetness, or try lime or grapefruit flavored water for a twist. Always use fresh lime juice for best results. Adjust cilantro to taste for a stronger herbal note.
