  • Shot glass
  • Small plate or shallow dish
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur such as Baileys
  • 1 oz amaretto
  • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 oz half and half or whole milk
  • 1 drop vanilla extract or almond extract optional
  • vanilla frosting for rim
  • Christmas sprinkles for decoration
  • ground cinnamon or nutmeg optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim shot glasses with vanilla frosting, then dip in Christmas sprinkles.
  • Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vanilla vodka, Irish cream, amaretto, butterscotch schnapps, half and half (or milk), and extract if using.
  • Shake for about 15 seconds until well chilled and creamy.
  • Strain into rimmed shot glasses.
  • Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Swap half and half for eggnog for even more holiday flavor. Adjust the extract to taste, but go easy—it’s strong! For a sugar cookie martini, pour into a larger glass. Best enjoyed fresh while ice-cold and rim is crisp.
