Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Martini glasses or dessert glasses
  • Small plate
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Rolling pin or mallet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold milk whole or 2% preferred
  • 0.25 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.25 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 0.25 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2-3 crushed candy canes or peppermint candies
  • whipped cream for topping
  • extra chocolate syrup for drizzle
  • crushed peppermint for garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Crush candy canes into small bits using a rolling pin or mallet.
  • Dip glass rims in chocolate syrup, then into crushed candy canes to create a crunchy edge.
  • In a blender, combine milk, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and ice cubes.
  • Blend until smooth and thick.
  • Pour shake into prepared glasses. Top with whipped cream, drizzle extra chocolate syrup, and sprinkle with crushed peppermint.

Notes

Martini glasses make it feel like a true mocktail, but any glass works! Cocoa powder and chocolate syrup give extra chocolate depth. For a lighter shake, use skim milk and less condensed milk. Serve immediately for the best crunch and texture.
