Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz simple syrup
  • 1 slice red chili pepper thin, seeds removed for less heat
  • 3 oz club soda to top
  • ice cubes
  • lemon wheel for garnish
  • chili slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Add gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and chili slice to a shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda and gently stir.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel and extra chili slice if desired.

Notes

For less spice, use a milder pepper or remove the chili earlier. For extra flavor, muddle the chili before shaking. Always taste as you go with spicy cocktails!
