–6 scoops vanilla ice cream

optional, to reduce sweetness

Instructions
Drop a few fresh or maraschino cherries at the bottom of each tall glass.
Add 2–3 scoops of vanilla ice cream into each glass.
Slowly pour cherry juice over the ice cream until just covered.
Carefully top each float with ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, pouring slowly to avoid overflowing foam.
(Optional) Add a splash of sparkling water to balance sweetness.
Garnish each float with a maraschino cherry or fresh cherry on top.
Serve immediately with a long spoon and straw.
