Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 4 oz sparkling mineral water Topo Chico or similar
  • 1 oz cherry juice or muddled fresh cherries
  • ice cubes
  • lime wedge for garnish
  • mint leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour tequila, lime juice, and cherry juice over the ice.
  • Stir gently with a bar spoon to mix.
  • Top slowly with sparkling mineral water and stir lightly.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

Topo Chico is best for lasting bubbles. Use fresh lime juice for brightness. Try dark cherry juice for a deeper flavor. Adjust tequila or sparkling water to taste. Serve extra cold for the most refreshing sip.
