Ingredients

  • 4 oz chilled champagne or dry sparkling wine
  • 1 oz cherry brandy
  • 1 fresh cherry or maraschino cherry pitted, for garnish
  • 1 tsp cherry syrup optional, for sweetness
  • Ice optional, for chilling before serving

Instructions

  • Chill champagne or sparkling wine for at least 2 hours.
  • Pour cherry brandy into the bottom of a flute.
  • If desired, add cherry syrup for extra sweetness.
  • Top slowly with champagne to avoid excess foam.
  • Gently stir to combine without losing bubbles.
  • Drop in cherry garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh cherries for a lighter flavor or maraschino for more sweetness. Opt for dry champagne to balance the cherry brandy. For a non-alcoholic version, use sparkling water and cherry juice.
