Equipment

  • Large punch bowl or pitcher
  • Long-handled spoon for stirring
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ice bucket
  • Glasses for serving
  • A punch ladle is helpful but not required. You can use a regular ladle or cup to serve.

Ingredients

Here's what you'll need to make Cherry Blossom Punch:

  • 2 cups cherry juice
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup elderflower liqueur
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 bottle 750 ml sparkling rosé wine, chilled
  • 2 cups club soda
  • Ice
  • Fresh cherries and edible flowers for garnish
  • You can adjust amounts to taste.

For a non-alcoholic version, replace the vodka and wine with more cherry juice and lemon-lime soda.

Instructions

Follow these steps to make the punch:

  • In a large punch bowl, mix cherry juice, vodka, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice.
  • Slowly pour in the sparkling rosé and club soda. Stir gently to combine.
  • Add ice to chill the punch.
  • Float fresh cherries and edible flowers on top for garnish.
  • Serve in glasses over ice. Add extra garnishes to each glass if desired.

Make the base mixture ahead of time and add the sparkling ingredients just before serving. This keeps the bubbles fresh.

    Notes

A few tips for the best results:
Use tart cherry juice for a balanced flavor. Sweet juice can make the punch too sugary.
Chill all ingredients before mixing for an ice-cold punch.
Try different edible flowers like pansies or rose petals for garnish.
Make ice cubes with cherry juice to avoid watering down the punch.
For big parties, you can double or triple the recipe easily.
This punch is best enjoyed fresh. The bubbles will go flat if stored too long. Leftovers can be used in other cocktails.
