  • Tall glass (12-16 oz)
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons almond syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • Ice cubes

Garnish:

  • Fresh cherries
  • Whipped cream
  • Slivered almonds

Instructions

  • Place frozen cherries in the blender with 1/4 cup almond milk. Blend until smooth and set aside.
  • Mix remaining almond milk, coconut cream, almond syrup, lemon juice, and almond extract in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Then, pour the cherry mixture down one side.
  • After that, slowly pour the almond mixture down the opposite side to create a swirled effect.
  • Finally, top with whipped cream, fresh cherries, and slivered almonds.

Notes

The drink tastes best when served right away to maintain the swirled effect.
Store leftover cherry puree in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
For extra thickness, freeze almond milk into ice cubes before blending.
Skip the whipped cream to make this recipe dairy-free and vegan-friendly.
