Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Measuring jigger
  • Martini or cocktail glass
  • Small plate
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer
  • Citrus juicer
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vanilla vodka
  • 0.5 oz amaretto or Irish cream
  • 0.5 oz chocolate liqueur or Kahlúa
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp honey for rim
  • graham cracker crumbs for rim
  • whipped cream for garnish; optional
  • lemon twist for garnish; optional
  • fresh berries for garnish; optional

Instructions

  • Crush graham crackers and spread the crumbs on a small plate.
  • Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass in honey, then press it into the crumbs to coat.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vanilla vodka, amaretto (or Irish cream), chocolate liqueur (or Kahlúa), heavy cream, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
  • Shake about 15 seconds until very cold and smooth.
  • Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with whipped cream, a lemon twist, or fresh berries.

Notes

Swap Irish cream for amaretto for a softer, creamier profile. Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter texture. If too sweet, reduce the simple syrup or skip the honey on the rim. For a stronger kick, add a touch more vodka and slightly reduce the cream.
