Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso about 2 ounces
  • 1 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • 0.5 cup milk whole, almond, oat, soy, or coconut
  • 1.5 tbsp caramel sauce or caramel syrup
  • whipped cream optional
  • caramel drizzle for topping
  • ice cubes for iced version

Instructions

  • Brew 2 shots of espresso and set aside.
  • Steam or froth milk until hot and foamy.
  • In a glass, add vanilla syrup and caramel sauce.
  • Pour in the espresso, then slowly add steamed milk.
  • Gently stir to combine.
  • For iced version, fill glass with ice first.
  • Top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle if desired.

Notes

Use fresh espresso for best flavor. Adjust sweetness by reducing syrup. Oat or almond milk froths well for a dairy-free version. Homemade caramel sauce adds richness. For layered look, pour milk gently over back of spoon.
