  • Martini glass

  • Small plate for rimming
  • Small saucepan (for caramel sauce)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz apple schnapps
  • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps
  • 1/2 oz caramel sauce plus extra for rimming
  • Ice for shaking
  • Green apple slice for garnish

For Homemade Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Pour caramel sauce onto a small plate.
  • Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass in the sauce.
  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vodka, apple schnapps, and butterscotch schnapps to the shaker.
  • Pour in 1/2 oz caramel sauce.
  • Shake well for 15-20 seconds until very cold.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
  • Garnish with a thin green apple slice.

For Homemade Caramel Sauce:

  • Mix sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cook until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  • Add cream and butter, then stir until smooth.
  • Let cool before using.

Notes

Store extra caramel sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
The drink becomes sweeter if you add more caramel sauce.
Use high-quality vodka and fresh apple garnish for the best results.
Chill the martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving.
