Instructions
Toss the sliced apples, orange, cinnamon sticks, and star anise into your pitcher.
Pour in the white wine, apple cider, and caramel vodka.
Stir in the caramel sauce until it’s dissolved.
Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours so the flavors can mingle.
Right before serving, add the ginger ale or sparkling apple cider.
If you want, rim your glasses with sugar—dip them in caramel sauce, then into sugar.
Pour the sangria into glasses, making sure everyone gets some fruit.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, use Moscato or Prosecco. For less sweetness, choose a dry Riesling or Pinot Blanc. Add brandy, bourbon, or spiced rum for extra kick, or replace some wine with apple juice or sparkling water for a lighter version.
