  • Martini glass or any clear glass
  • Measuring cup or jigger
  • Spoon (for layering)
  • Citrus juicer
  • Whisk (if making fresh whipped cream)
  • Small plates (for rimming)
  • Knife and chopping board

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons grenadine
  • 4 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 ounces heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon candy corn syrup optional
  • Ice cubes a few
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)
  • Corn syrup for rimming
  • Crushed candy corn for rimming
  • Candy corn pieces for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim your glass: Dip the rim into corn syrup, then press into crushed candy corn. Set aside.
  • Pour 2 tablespoons grenadine into the bottom of the glass.
  • In a cocktail shaker, shake 4 ounces pineapple juice, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and a few ice cubes until chilled.
  • Slowly pour the pineapple juice over the back of a spoon into the glass to create the second yellow layer.
  • In a separate cup, mix 2 ounces heavy cream with 1 teaspoon maple syrup (and candy corn syrup if using).
  • Gently spoon the cream mixture over the pineapple layer to form the white top layer.
  • Add a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with candy corn.
  • Serve immediately for best layered effect.
