Ingredients

  • 2 oz peppermint vodka
  • 1 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1 oz lime juice fresh is best
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 4 oz ginger beer or ginger ale
  • 1 small candy cane whole for garnish
  • 1 tbsp crushed candy canes for rim
  • 4-5 fresh mint leaves
  • fresh cranberries optional, for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Rim copper mug with lime juice and dip into crushed candy canes. Fill mug with ice cubes.
  • In a shaker, combine peppermint vodka, schnapps, lime juice, and cranberry juice. Shake lightly and pour into mug.
  • Top with ginger beer. Stir gently. Garnish with candy cane, mint leaves, and cranberries if desired.

Notes

Copper mugs keep the drink extra cold. Use ginger ale for a sweeter taste. Adjust peppermint strength to your liking. Mint adds aroma and color; muddle if you want more herbal kick.
