Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Muddler
  • Jigger or measuring tool
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Collins glass
  • Ice cube tray
  • Small plate for sugar rim

Ingredients

  • 2 oz premium vodka
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4-5 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Club soda
  • Sugar for rim garnish
  • Extra blueberries and mint for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Rim a Collins glass with sugar and set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add ¾ cup blueberries and mint leaves. Muddle until berries release their juice.
  • Pour in vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake for 15-20 seconds.
  • Double strain into the prepared Collins glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with remaining fresh blueberries and a mint sprig.

Notes

The drink tastes best with fresh blueberries, but frozen ones work in a pinch. Just thaw them first.
Store simple syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
For a mocktail version, replace vodka with white grape juice and add an extra splash of club soda.
Double straining removes small berry pieces and ensures a smooth texture.
