Equipment

  • Martini glass
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Small bowl
  • Spoon
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Glass rimmer

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz hazelnut liqueur like Frangelico
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • 1 oz pecan syrup or pecan liqueur
  • caramel sauce for glass rim and drizzle
  • chopped toasted pecans for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Rim your martini glass with caramel sauce.
  • Add chopped toasted pecans to a plate and dip the glass rim into them.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  • Pour in bourbon, hazelnut liqueur, pecan syrup, and heavy cream.
  • Shake well for about 15–20 seconds until it’s nice and chilled.
  • Strain into your prepared martini glass.
  • Drizzle extra caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with more toasted pecans.
  • Serve straight away while it’s cold.

Notes

Toasted pecans add the best flavor. Frangelico gives a strong hazelnut note, but any hazelnut liqueur works. Maple syrup can sub for pecan syrup. Add more bourbon for a stronger drink, or more cream for extra richness. Chilling the glass helps keep the drink smooth and cold.
