  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 15-20 fresh blueberries
  • 6-8 mint leaves
  • Club soda to top
  • Ice cubes

Extra blueberries and mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Add blueberries and mint leaves to the cocktail shaker.
  • Use the muddler to gently crush the blueberries and mint until the juice releases.
  • Pour in vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with fresh blueberries and a mint sprig.

Notes

Store fresh blueberries in the fridge to keep them firm for muddling. They'll last about 1-2 weeks.
Use quality vodka since it's the main spirit. A mid-range brand works well.
Make simple syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and water over heat until dissolved. Let it cool before using.
For a mocktail version, skip the vodka and add extra club soda.
