  • Large pitcher (64 oz capacity)
  • Blender
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon

  • Serving glasses
  • Citrus juicer or reamer

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 6-8 lemons
  • 1/2 cup honey or simple syrup
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Extra blueberries for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1-2 drops blue food coloring for enhanced color

Instructions

  • Rinse the blueberries and add them to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
  • Pour the blueberry puree through a fine mesh strainer into the pitcher.
  • Add fresh lemon juice and honey to the pitcher. Stir until the honey dissolves.
  • Then, pour in the cold water and mix well.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Add ice cubes to serving glasses.
  • Pour the mocktail into glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves and extra blueberries.

Notes

The mocktail keeps fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.
For a slushie version, freeze the mixture in ice cube trays and blend before serving.
To make ahead, prepare the base without water and store it in the fridge. Add water when ready to serve.
Kids love this drink with a splash of sprite or sparkling water for extra fizz.
The natural blueberry color might fade over time. Add food coloring only if needed.
