Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 oz lavender simple syrup culinary or dried lavender
  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3-4 oz sparkling water or ranch water
  • ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • mint leaves optional, for garnish
  • lemon wheel optional, for garnish
  • fresh lavender sprig optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add blueberries and lavender syrup to your cocktail shaker.
  • Muddle gently until the berries burst and release their juice.
  • Pour in the gin and fresh lemon juice. Add ice and shake for about 10 seconds.
  • Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
  • Top with sparkling water and stir lightly with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with mint, lemon wheel, or a fresh lavender sprig if desired.

Notes

Homemade lavender syrup gives the best flavor—simmer equal parts sugar and water with dried lavender, strain, and cool. Adjust syrup or lemon for preferred sweetness and tartness. Serve ice-cold and enjoy soon after mixing for best fizz and aroma.
