  • Cocktail shaker
  • Muddler
  • Jigger or measuring tool
  • Fine-mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4-5 oz ginger beer
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh blueberries and lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  • Add blueberries to the shaker and muddle until they release their juice.
  • Pour in vodka, lime juice, and lavender simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into a copper mule mug filled with ice.
  • Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
  • Garnish with fresh blueberries and a sprig of lavender.

Notes

The drink tastes best with fresh blueberries, but frozen ones work in a pinch.
Make lavender simple syrup by combining 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 3 tablespoons dried lavender. Heat until sugar dissolves, then strain.
Store leftover lavender syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
For a mocktail version, replace vodka with club soda.
