Ingredients

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 0.5 oz blue curaçao
  • 0.5 oz lime juice fresh
  • 3 oz lemon-lime soda
  • 1-2 drops hot sauce mild style preferred
  • ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • lime wedge for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vodka, coconut rum, blue curaçao, and fresh lime juice.
  • Shake for about 10 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a highball or rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with lemon-lime soda and give a gentle stir.
  • Add 1–2 drops of hot sauce to the top, then garnish with a lime wedge if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Start with one drop of hot sauce and increase to taste—the goal is gentle warmth, not overpowering heat. For a drier drink, replace lemon-lime soda with club soda. Quality blue curaçao improves both flavor and color. Serve very cold for the brightest, most refreshing sip.
