Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka or gin choose vodka for smoothness or gin for botanical edge
  • 1 oz blue curacao liqueur orange liqueur
  • 0.5 oz dry vermouth
  • 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice
  • lemon twist or maraschino cherry for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Chill a martini glass in the freezer or fill with ice water while you mix the drink.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka or gin, blue curacao, dry vermouth, and lemon juice.
  • Shake well for about 15 seconds, until the shaker feels very cold.
  • Strain into the chilled martini glass.
