This Blue Curacao Daiquiri is a fun, tropical spin on the classic daiquiri—rum, blue curaçao, lime, and simple syrup shaken until ice cold for a bold, citrusy, refreshing drink.
Add white rum, blue curaçao, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Shake hard for about 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge. Serve immediately.
For a frozen version: blend all ingredients with a cup of crushed ice until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish as above.
Notes
Keep the rum-to-lime ratio balanced for best flavor. Fresh lime juice is key. Add extra simple syrup for a sweeter taste. Blue curaçao gives the bold color; orange curaçao works if you don’t mind losing the blue. Reduce rum for a lighter version.
