  • Small plate for sugar rim

Ingredients

  • 2 oz berry or raspberry vodka
  • 1 oz raspberry liqueur e.g., Chambord
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • ½ oz grenadine for color & sweetness
  • ½ oz lemon juice fresh preferred
  • 1 –2 drops red food coloring optional
  • Red sugar for rimming the glass
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish
  • Ice for shaking

Instructions

  • Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a martini glass.
  • Dip the rim into red sugar and set aside.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vodka, raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, grenadine, and lemon juice.
  • Add red food coloring if you want a deeper red tone.
  • Shake well (10–15 seconds) until the shaker feels cold.
  • Strain into the prepared martini glass.
  • Garnish with raspberries on a cocktail pick.
  • Serve immediately while chilled.
