  • Cocktail shaker
  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Wine glass or large stemmed glass
  • Citrus juicer
  • Ice scoop
  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Campari
  • 2 oz fresh blood orange juice regular orange juice can be used
  • 3 oz prosecco chilled
  • 1 oz sparkling water such as Sanpellegrino
  • ice cubes
  • orange slice or wedge, for garnish
  • fresh mint sprig for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Fill a large wine glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour in Campari and blood orange juice, and stir gently.
  • Add chilled prosecco, then top with sparkling water.
  • Stir slowly to blend but keep the bubbles.
  • Garnish with an orange slice or wedge and, if desired, a sprig of mint.

Notes

For the boldest color and flavor, use fresh blood orange juice. Adjust the balance of Campari and juice for a sweeter or more bitter drink. Serve extra cold for the best experience.
