  • Muddler
  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Small knife

  • Ice cube tray
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 5-6 fresh blackberries plus extra for garnish
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz gin
  • 0.5 oz Aperol
  • 3 oz prosecco chilled
  • 1-2 oz club soda, soda water, or sparkling water
  • ice cubes
  • fresh mint or basil leaves for garnish
  • lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions

  • Add blackberries to the shaker and muddle until crushed.
  • Pour in lemon juice, simple syrup, gin, and Aperol.
  • Add ice and shake for 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain into a wine glass filled with ice.
  • Top with prosecco and then club soda or sparkling water.
  • Stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with mint or basil, blackberries, and a lemon wheel.

Notes

Fresh lemon juice is best. Frozen blackberries (thawed) can be used if fresh are unavailable. Skip gin for a lighter version, or swap mint for basil. Serve immediately for the best bubbles.
