  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer
  • Tall glasses
  • Small bowl (for rimming glass)
  • Citrus juicer
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Crushed ice

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz dark rum
  • ½ oz spiced rum
  • 1 oz black vodka or ¼ tsp activated charcoal
  • 1 ½ oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • ¼ oz grenadine
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 oz coconut cream optional
  • Crushed ice for shaker + serving glass
  • Garnish: orange slices lime wheels, or tropical fruits

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
  • Add dark rum, spiced rum, black vodka (or charcoal), pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, simple syrup, grenadine, bitters, and coconut cream if using.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until chilled.
  • Fill a tall glass with crushed ice.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish with orange slices, lime wheels, or fresh fruit.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly!
