Ingredients

  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 0.5 oz black cherry rum
  • 0.5 oz lime juice fresh
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 0.5 oz grenadine
  • 0.5 oz orange liqueur optional
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup optional, to taste
  • 1 dash bitters optional
  • ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • black cherries or orange slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add light rum, dark rum, black cherry rum, lime juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine. Add orange liqueur, simple syrup, and bitters if using.
  • Shake hard for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a tall glass or tiki mug filled with fresh ice and give a gentle stir.
  • Garnish with a black cherry or an orange slice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Fresh lime juice keeps the sweetness in check. If the drink tastes too sweet, add an extra squeeze of lime or a splash of soda water. For a stronger cherry note, increase the black cherry rum slightly and reduce the simple syrup.
