Black Cat Blackstrap Cocktail Recipe
A bold, flavorful Halloween cocktail made with cherry brandy, blackberry liqueur, cranberry juice, and a fizzy cola finish. Dark, rich, and surprisingly easy to make!
Equipment
- Cocktail shaker
- Measuring jigger
- Strainer
- Rocks glass or highball glass
- Knife & cutting board
- Bar spoon (optional)
- Ice cubes
Ingredients
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz cherry brandy
- 1 oz blackberry liqueur
- 2 oz cranberry juice
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice or lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup or grenadine for deeper flavor
- 2 oz cola to top
- Ice cubes
- Garnish: maraschino cherry + lime or lemon wedge
Instructions
- Add vodka, cherry brandy, blackberry liqueur, cranberry juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain into a rocks or highball glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top off with 2 oz of cola for fizz.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a lime or lemon wedge.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
