Equipment

  • Large glass pitcher (2-quart capacity)
  • Long wooden spoon for stirring
  • Wine glasses for serving
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles 750ml each dry rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or simple syrup
  • 2 cups mixed fresh berries strawberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • 1 orange thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • Club soda for topping
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Wash all fruit and pat dry. Slice strawberries into quarters, leave other berries whole.
  • Combine rosé wine and brandy in the pitcher.
  • Add honey or simple syrup and lemon juice. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add all prepared fruit to the pitcher.
  • Refrigerate for 2-4 hours to let flavors blend.
  • Just before serving, top with a splash of club soda.
  • Pour into ice-filled glasses and add fresh fruit from the pitcher to each glass.

Notes

Store leftover sangria in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The fruit will continue to soften and release flavors.
Add ice only to individual glasses, not the pitcher, to prevent dilution.
For a stronger fruit flavor, prepare the mix 8 hours ahead or overnight.
Replace honey with agave nectar for a vegan option.
