Berry Cherry Sangria Cocktail

Berry Cherry Sangria Cocktail Recipe
A refreshing pitcher of sangria made with dry red wine, cherries, mixed berries, orange slices, a splash of brandy, and sparkling water. Chill for a couple of hours so the fruit infuses the wine for a bright, fruity sip.

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Small knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Ice bucket or container
  • Serving glasses

Ingredients

  • 750 ml dry red wine 1 bottle; Merlot or Tempranillo
  • 1 cup cherries pitted; fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 orange sliced thin
  • 0.25 cup brandy or cherry liqueur
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey adjust to taste
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda chilled
  • ice cubes to serve

Instructions

  • Wash and slice all fruit into bite-sized pieces.
  • Add the cherries, mixed berries, and orange slices to a large pitcher.
  • Pour in the red wine, brandy (or cherry liqueur), and sugar or honey.
  • Stir gently with a long-handled spoon until the sugar dissolves.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for the flavors to blend.
  • Just before serving, add the chilled sparkling water or club soda and a scoop of ice. Stir again and pour into glasses with some fruit.

Notes

For a stronger fruit flavor, chill overnight. Use rosé for a lighter style, or skip the brandy for a lower-ABV version. Leftovers keep up to 2 days in the fridge; add a few fresh berries before serving again to perk up the flavors.
