  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Jigger or small measuring cup
  • Bar spoon
  • Wine glass or big stemmed glass
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 6-8 fresh raspberries
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 3 oz white wine or sparkling wine, chilled
  • 2 oz sparkling water
  • ice cubes
  • basil leaf or whole raspberry for garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle raspberries and basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice. Shake for 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain into a wine glass filled with ice.
  • Top with chilled white wine or sparkling wine, then add sparkling water.
  • Stir gently. Garnish with a basil leaf or whole raspberry.

Notes

Use ripe berries for natural sweetness, or add extra syrup if needed. Sparkling wine gives richer flavor, white wine is lighter. Chilling the glass helps keep the spritz cold and crisp.
