  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 oz banana-caramel syrup homemade
  • 1 slice banana for garnish
  • 1 pinch cinnamon or nutmeg optional, for garnish
  • ice cubes for shaking

Instructions

  • Chill a martini glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add dark rum, banana liqueur, coffee liqueur, heavy cream (or half-and-half), and banana-caramel syrup.
  • Shake hard for 15–20 seconds until the shaker feels icy cold.
  • Strain into the chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with a banana slice and a light pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired.

Notes

For the banana-caramel syrup, simmer sliced banana with brown sugar, a little butter, and a splash of rum until thick; strain through a fine sieve and cool. Use dairy-free cream for a lighter option or drizzle caramel inside the glass for extra sweetness.
